What happens next
Sign in to your account
Use your Oshii email and password, or your usual Google account. You do not need to install the app.
Review and confirm
Check the displayed account address and read about data deletion and retention. You must explicitly confirm before anything is deleted.
Your account is deleted
Confirmation is shown only when the server confirms deletion. This action is permanent and does not cancel your store subscription.
Use the same sign-in method as in Oshii. If you have forgotten your password, the usual recovery flow remains available in the app.
What your request covers
Your account and associated data
Account deletion removes access to Oshii. Some data remains stored, as explained below.

| Personal organization | Account-linked folders, shopping lists, food items, meal plans, friendships, shares and notification tokens are deleted. |
| Social-media and generated recipes | These recipes remain in the catalogue to enrich Oshii’s recipe collection. They are detached from the deleted account and the user’s personal rating is removed. |
| Images and associated services | Account deletion does not currently guarantee erasure of image files or data held by analytics and purchase management services. |
Copies that another user has already exported or saved independently cannot be removed from their devices by Oshii.
Timing and retained data
Account deletion takes effect when confirmed by the server. There is no intentional waiting period and the account cannot be restored from this website.
Social-media and generated recipes detached from the account and containing no information that identifies the user are kept indefinitely to enrich the catalogue. This retention does not cover personal account information.
No maximum additional retention period is currently guaranteed for images, analytics data, purchase data or backup copies. Account deletion must therefore not be interpreted as complete and immediate erasure of all this data.
Have a subscription?
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Manage cancellation in the relevant store to avoid further charges. You can delete your account without waiting.
